Working with Milestones
Sequential funding, submitting deliverables, and the approval flow.
Sequential workflow
Milestones are worked on sequentially. The first milestone must be funded before work begins. When a milestone is approved, the next one becomes active and needs to be funded. This ensures both parties are aligned at each stage before moving forward.
For developers: submitting work
When you've completed the work for a milestone, submit it through the project page. Include a description of what was delivered and any relevant notes. The client will be notified to review your submission.
For clients: reviewing submissions
When a developer submits a milestone, you'll receive a notification. Review the deliverable against the milestone description. You can approve the milestone (releasing the escrowed funds to the developer) or request changes with specific feedback.
Requesting changes
If the deliverable doesn't meet the milestone requirements, you can request changes with detailed feedback. The developer will revise and resubmit. This cycle continues until the work meets your requirements and you approve the milestone.
